None of the objects are available for monetary exchange, instead we ask for conversation as currency. In doing we replace a system of supply and demand with one of Intimacy and consent.
A two-week installation in Prospect Park, BK by Girl on Girl Collective. Not for Sale was a newsstand filled with artwork by 100+ artists from around the world. Art objects took the place of the goods typically found in a newsstand, and conversation became the currency, shifting the model from supply and demand to one rooted in intimacy and consent
